Legal Disclaimer: Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

By participating in the CNY Adult Hockey League activities, including practices, games, and related events, all players, coaches, officials, and participants acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk
   Hockey is a high-contact sport that involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, bodily injury, falls, collisions, impacts with other players, equipment, and the playing surface. By participating, you voluntarily accept and assume all risks associated with your involvement in these activities, including any risk of serious injury, disability, or death.

2. Release of Liability
   To the fullest extent permitted by law, the CNY Adult Hockey League, its organizers, sponsors, officials, employees, agents, and facility owners are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages you may sustain while participating in or attending league activities.

3. Medical Consent
   In the event of injury or illness during participation, you authorize CNY Adult Hockey League personnel to seek medical assistance on your behalf if necessary. All costs related to medical care are your sole responsibility.

4. Personal Insurance
   Participants are encouraged to have personal health and accident insurance coverage prior to participating. The CNY Adult Hockey League does not provide health or accident insurance.

5. Acknowledgment of Understanding
   By registering or otherwise engaging in CNY Adult Hockey League activities, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agree to this disclaimer. Participation is entirely at your own risk.
